Inspired Nature Winter Wellbeing Group

Dates: 17/01/25, 24/01/25, 31/01/25, 07/02/25
Times: 10:30-1pm
The series cost is £67 per person. Low cost spaces are £57.

Sessions will begin with a local wellbeing walk - 30-60 minutes (depending on weather, ability, feeling in the group) - with some gentle optional mindfulness guidance - e.g. contemplative grounding, or social walk/chat, or invitation to gather leaves, or photos or rubbings of texture.

We’ll then return to WOCC for tea and a snack.

The second part of the session will be indoor therapeutic art making time for 60-90 minutes (also with some light optional guidance) - e.g. drawing with pencil / ink / pen / crayon, painting with ink, watercolour, or watercolour pencils, or use of fabric or collage.

Eleanor is a warm and welcoming artist facilitator, based in Oxford. She has experience working and volunteering in a variety of mental health contexts and has also trained in psychotherapy.

Describing the ‘Inspired Nature’ project Eleanor says: "Inspired Nature has emerged from years of contemplating the relationship between walking and art making, and (more recently) a curiosity in ways that mindfulness can support these ancient practices to become therapeutic for wellbeing."

She is very happy to be offering a 4-session series from WOCA.
